It's the cabin of Dena and Jim Reid who have taken on the blessing to tend for the large amount of hummingbirds who visit. It started with 8 art designed glass 12 oz feeders. It has now bloomed to over 70 feeders of 48 oz to a gallon to keep our beautiful flying visitors healthy and happy. It is stated that this place may hold the record for nectar consumed by hummingbirds with the occasional ant and bee...Over 10+ gallons a day. As of 2024, 20 gallons a day are consumed by the local hummingbirds. Done lovingly and with passion for the symbol of good luck and fascinating creatures. July only for the rufus males. July and August is the time of year hummingbirds are swarming all over the feeders guzzeling up for the journey south for the winter in Mexico.
